Any bids over £6.2 million?

A huge collection of treasures owned by Princess Diana’s family is being auctioned off at the world's oldest fine art auctioneer, Christie's in London, to help restore the family estate at Althorp. The family are attempting to raise £20 million.

One of the paintings sold this week at the Old Masters & 19th Century Art Evening Sale was top lot, Sir Peter Paul Rubens’ A Commander Being Armed for Battle, which has hung at the 14,000-acre childhood estate of the late Princess of Wales for over 200 years.
