Portuguese Stunner Reveals More

A beautiful landscape, a spacious home, a respect for the holistic effects of natural light, and a huge dose of style make this home a winner.  The property makes the most of its aspect as it was designed and built taking into account the sun's circuit with a glass façade and its position beside a valley.

The concept of this Portuguese home was located around a central internal square, like Roman houses, and this idea is at the core of the design. The main area provides open plan living and dining areas without doors to the kitchen.

Down below the architect, Manuel Ribeiro, cleverly created a space for a gym, office, locker room, support kitchen, and engine room to supply the services to the pool facilities, making the most of the natural slope of the terrain.

I love the way the light floods in.

“We tried to take the most of the land to create a connection with the interior of the building, leaving a view of the valley and the square that exists between the two bodies housing”, Ribeiro highlights.
